ScreenGirl is a Pisces and an island baby, swimming in the turquoise seas of the Mediterranean before she could even walk. The Mediterranean zone is a wonderful conglomeration of sun, sea, magic, religion and food. From the beautiful mermaids of myth, to stunning sea creatures, rituals and talismans combining a very specific strand of catholicism, paganism and folklore. The Mediterranean is a magical place and Malta (my home country) is at its centre. A melting pot between south Europe and north Africa.
