Feminist Killjoy

Here at Cat Magic Collective we are proud supporters of womxn’s rights. We support inclusive feminism, and that includes trans-rights and the lgbitq community.

Sara Ahmed is the one who coined the term Feminist Killjoy to highlight how our obsession with being happy leads to complacency and creates friction with those who interrupt the status quo, and that status quo includes racism, misogyny and the patriarchy in general. The feminist killjoy is not only uneasy with anything that creates inequality, but they speak up and work for change. 

Here at Cat Magic Collective we are proud supporters of womxn’s rights. In my home country (where abortion remains illegal) and everywhere else. All profits of some of the items in this section go to the Women’s Rights Foundation in Malta which offers free legal advice to women in need, raise awareness of women’s rights, provide training and campaign for changes in law and policies.
