Beginner's Screen Printing Workshops on Paper or Textiles in the South of Malta

Our beginner’s workshop is the perfect introduction for anyone curious about the screen printing process, with little to no experience. It’s practical and hands-on — together we’ll take your artwork from an idea to a final art print. I’ve been screen printing for nearly 15 years (including 10 years running a studio in Berlin), so you’ll be guided through the full process step-by-step. We’ll cover a bit of the history of screen printing, different techniques and processes, the tools you’ll need, exposing your artwork, setting up for printing, and finally turning your design into reality.

Course structure:

Introduction to screen printing
Artwork preparation
Exposing your design onto photo emulsion
Printing your design onto paper/textile

What you need to bring:

It is super important that you come ready with an idea for a design and images to work from so that we have more time for printing! We will be creating your artwork together during the first part of the workshop. Please reach out if you're not sure about your design!

What I provide:

You will get 10 sheets of A4 high quality white/off white card to print on (if you want other colours feel free to bring your own).

There will also be snacks, tea and coffee available!

Group workshops at 75€ per person (vat inc)

Workshops are usually held on a Saturday from 10:00 to 17:30 for a limited number of 5 people per workshop in Paola.
